Nowata History 1912: Courthouse DedicatedNowata, Okla., July 13 - Nowata county's new courthouse was dedicated during the past week when Judge Gilluly of the county court adjourned from the old building to the new and called upon several members of the bar present to make addresses in honor of the first occupancy of the new structure. A large crowd assembled when the word got out that the court had been called in the new quarters. All of the officers now are busy moving into the building, which is one of the finest courthouses in this section of the state. It is a two-story brick building arranged suitably for the conduct of every couty office. The furniture from the old building will be used until a consignment including $2,300 worth of new equipment reaches here. It is expected September 1.
